Beautiful photo! Love it! We celebrated our daughter’s 6th birthday at night at the Eiffel tower as it was a symbol that we could excite a 5 year old about through kid’s books to prepare her for our open ended world tour.
She will never forget that birthday and such an exciting day as she topped it with a climb to the top with daddy and a ride on the merry-go-round with mom late into the night with it all lit up like that.
Did she climb all the way up to the top? Impressive!
I’m looking forward to going all the way to the top on my next visit: the third level, along with its restaurant, is closed for renovations until spring.
Beautiful photo! I love the unusual angle and the light beams from the top of the Tour Eiffel. One of the favorite shots I took when we were in Paris was looking straight up into the lighted tower at night. It’s truly a beautiful and impressive structure, isn’t it?
Thanks, Dominique! The angle came about because I didn’t have a lens wide enough to capture the whole scene without tilting the camera. Sometimes things work out for the best!

Great photo of such a well known scene. The tilt of the angle certainly adds to the photo.
