Did you ever wonder how marbles are made?
Handmade ones are a rarity nowadays, but the art is definitely not lost at Moon Marble Company. Artisan and owner Bruce Breslow demonstrates the craft in his Bonner Springs, Kansas, shop on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Call ahead (913-441-1432) for exact times or to arrange a group tour.
Don't forget to use the restroom during your visit: it's also a marble museum.

I love this guy’s shirt, amazing colours! I did a glass bead making course a few years ago, & learnt how to use the flame to melt the glass into shape, it was lots of fun.
thanks for sharing,
Peace
Too cool. Who’da thunk such a funky place existed in Kansas?
that is really, really cool!
So cool! I love the fact that the restroom is a marble museum!
I would love visiting this place! Clearly the place to be if you’ve ever lost your marbles (I had to say it).
Awesome! My daughter’s going to love checking this out!
Thanks for sharing. It really took me down the memory lane as I had hundred when I was young (but that was in the previous millennium 🙂
