Two years ago on Easter Sunday, I joined townspeople, tourists, and Quechua porters just back from the Inca Trail for Mass at the tiny village church in Aguas Calientes, Peru, nearest town to Machu Picchu.
At the end of the service, the priest leads the congregation in applause.
I don't think the priest approved of my taking pictures during the service, but I did leave a 100 soles note in the poor box, and not just out of guilt.
Hello, Cusco has many tourist attractions and activities that tourists can do. I traveled with my family last summer and had a good time. All we did the Inca Trail and it was an unforgettable experience. If you have the opportunity to travel to Peru visit Cusco and hire a travel agency that arrange everything. I did it with TurPeru and was very good, I recommend it. Its website is http://www.turperu.com.pe
